SUMMER ART WORKSHOPS
In place of camps this summer, I will be offering various Mixed Media Art Workshops. For 3 hours we will experiment with new techniques and create something truly unique and inspired!
Workshops will be held at the NEW Paint N Pour which is located on the 3rd floor of the South Bay Galleria Mall across from the AMC.

POP ART PET PAINTING
7+ year old Artists
Using acrylic paint, paint pens, a photo and our imagination, we will create a colorful, stylized portrait of our pet inspired by contemporary artist Aiden Weichard. This is a fun experiment in mark making and abstract art. Artists will leave with a framed painting.

Pop Art Self Portraits
7+ year old Artists
Paint scraping, stenciling, acrylic paint and paint pens help us create a uniquely one-of-a kind self portrait. Hang it in your room or give it to someone you love! Artists will leave with a framed painting.

Printmaking & Collaging
7+ year old Artists
The first half of our workshop will be devoted to creating gorgeous prints using the Gelli plate printmaking technique. We will use these prints in the second half to create a cut paper collage of your choosing - a mountain landscape, flower still life, feathery bird - your choice! Artists will leave with a framed painting.

Funky Faux Mosaic Mirror
7+ year old Artists
After stamping and stenciling custom painted paper foam sheets, we will cut them into mosaic tiles and collage them onto a painted 12” mirrored wooden frame.

ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM
7+ year old Artists
Using acrylic paint and paint pens, artists will create a layered composition of colorful lines, shapes and patterns inspired by contemporary Abstract Expressionist artists like Joan Blond and Hayley Mischief Lord. Artists will create on an 11 x 14” canvas board.

DAZZLING DISCO BALL

Using acrylic paint we will blend tints and shades of our favorite colors to create sparkle and light, inspired by contemporary artist Sari Shryack. Artists will create on an 16” wood circle.
